近期主要工作和进展:
病原菌是人类公共卫生安全面临的巨大挑战。它们可以进入人体细胞在其中生长繁殖、并通过细菌的蛋白质分泌系统向细胞注射效应蛋白等从而引起人体不同程度的感染及各类疾病。可以预计,病原性疾病将作为人类健康的持久挑战而一直存在。对于细菌性疾病来说,抗生素是目前人类使用的最重要的药物,但细菌的耐药性也在迅速增强发展,各种耐药性致病菌的传播给人类的生存带来了巨大的威胁。
1. 我们目前以引起结核病的病原微生物结合分枝杆菌为主要对象,研究其特有的七型分泌系统组成蛋白、效应蛋白的结构功能关系,同时我们还探索和研究结核分枝杆菌耐受临床上使用的一线、二线药物的分子机理。
2. 病原菌中一些潜在药物靶点的研究。我们对一些来至于幽门螺杆菌的潜在药物靶点进行了结构功能关系研究。
3. 我个人对细菌运动这一最简单的生命表征有非常高的兴趣,正在进行一些细菌趋化和细菌运动调控方面的分子机理研究。
