研究方向:

高效的社会沟通和互动对个体乃至群体的生存都具有极为重要的意义。正常的社会活动中所需要的一系列特定的认知活动(如面孔加工、情绪处理等)即为社会认知。社会认知功能障碍是众多脑疾病(如自闭症、精神分裂症、焦虑症等)的一个标志性特征。非人灵长类动物(特别是各方面最宜进行实验的猕猴)由于其与人类在遗传、生理、神经解剖和行为上的相似性,是研究社会认知及其障碍相关脑疾病的最佳动物模型。我们以猕猴为实验动物,结合行为猴脑功能磁共振成像技术与其他多种研究手段(如行为学、药理学、电生理、神经计算模型等),同时结合基于健康人群和脑疾病患者的观察与实验,从细胞、系统和行为等方面,多层次、多角度地研究社会认知及其相关脑疾病的神经机制,并针对相关脑疾病发展新的早期检测和有效治疗方案。
